If you look around at society, you will see that everyone is different. Some people are overweight, skinny, or muscular. Lifestyle has a lot to do with it, but everyone is born with specific genetics that is inherited from our parents. While we are young, these particular body types are the most noticeable, as we are still developing as humans. Children tend to follow the pattern of our parents when it comes to body types. Overweight families are more likely to overfeed their children because they understand their body type, and this would best fulfill it. These body types boil down to metabolism and how fast the body burns the calories that are consumed. When someone has a faster metabolism, they can burn calories easier, which leads to being on the slender side. It requires more calories because of how fast the body burns them. The opposite is exact for people that have a slower metabolism; they can burn calories slower, which can cause weight gain, causing them to be overweight. This is just the thing that would happen with healthy lifestyle choices, which is disregarding working out or special diets. These three body types can be summarized into their scientific terms like this: Ectomorph humans are the ones that are naturally skinny and can consume more calories than any other body type because of how fast they can burn them. Endomorphs are the ones that are usually overweight because of how slowly they burn calories. Now, if you're a mesomorph, you've hit the jackpot of all body types. Mesomorphs can burn calories just as fast as they can consume them.
